Introducing Semii Studio: Our Story, Our Why, and What’s Next

Whether you’ve just discovered us or followed us through the transition from Recover Wellbeing, we’re so happy to have you here. We wanted to start our blog by sharing our story—why we do what we do, how Semii Studio came to life, and where we’re headed.
Why We Do What We Do
At Semii Studio, our mission is simple:
To support people in moving with intention, building strength, and improving function for long-term wellbeing.
We believe that movement is one of the most powerful tools for healing—both physically and mentally. Our approach is grounded in Pilates principles, with each session carefully programmed to enhance functional strength, optimise movement patterns, and support long-term musculoskeletal health.
We created this space because we saw a need for something more than just another workout. People were looking for guidance. For answers. For a way to reconnect with their bodies—whether they were managing injuries, chronic pain, pregnancy, post-op rehab, or just wanting to move with more intention.
At Semii Studio, we offer a comprehensive Pilates experience that extends beyond just the mat or reformer. With access to the full range of studio apparatus and personalised instruction, our clients are guided through the complete Pilates method to support meaningful progress and lasting results.
A New Chapter: From Recover Wellbeing to Semii Studio
In December 2024, I (Bekk) took over the beautiful studio formerly known as Recover Wellbeing, founded by Sarah. Her work created an incredible foundation—a warm and supportive space where people could heal through movement.
When the opportunity arose to carry that legacy forward, I knew it was the right next step. But I also wanted to bring a new vision to life—a studio grounded in Pilates knowledge, holistic care, and a fresh approach to movement therapy. And with that, Semii Studio was born.
The name Semii reflects our individualised approach and the idea Pilates is for EVERYbody. It’s about finding balance—not perfection. Strength—not strain. And it’s a reminder that we’re all works in progress, moving through seasons of growth, recovery, and resilience. You are welcome here.
